New Glasses and a Date for the Ultrasound!

So here I am again, I am 18 weeks along and I can really feel baby moving around like crazy! So flippin cool! Baby seems happy and healthy, and I sure feel pretty good myself. P.S. Ty thanks for taking my picts.

I got new glasses the other day and decided that since I won't be wearing them that much because I usually wear contacts, that I would get something fun and funky.

I wanted to add this fun pict of Ty in here (sorry it doesn't have good clarity). When we found out we were having a baby, Tyler and his dad and two brothers decided to share a cigar and a homebrew via webcam to celebrate the new baby.

SO THE NEWS IS: we find out what the sex of the baby is on June 7th, my doctor prefers that I must wait (impatiently) until 20 weeks. June will be the craziest month ever since we have some weekend trips planned and plenty of doctors visits.

Grandkids #s 2&3 and #9

This happens to be just one of my favorite people in the world, And God put her in my life as a sister in-law.
Angela and I are both Due with babies in October - How cool, huh?
We are due 1 week apart, however she is scheduling the c-section on
October 10th (Day before my Mom's Birthday) also very cool. I am due on October 26th.
Angela will have grandbaby #2 on the Labrum's side, and I will have grandbaby #3.
My mom already has 8 grandkids so this will make her #9 grandbaby.
Love and Miss you Ang!

A Tribute to Our Mothers

I must say that the last thing we should ever do is forget Mother's Day.
Tyler and I have such amazing Mothers, that have poured their heart into everthing they do.
Their love and their care is beyond unbelievable, not to mention their prayers!
We want you both to know that not only have you touched our lives, but you have touched all the others that know you. You are incredibly important to us.
Thank you for everything!

For the first time in my life I am about to discover what it actually means to be a “mom.” By the time next Mother’s Day rolls around I will already have a son or a daughter.
To carry a child is such a blessing and without doubt you also carry some anxieties.
I have only begun on this great adventure to really see that ever since my mother carried me in her womb she had an unexplainable love for me, and the responsibilities to come for her would be a lifelong journey. Mom, you are the best mother in the entire world, because you loved me better than you knew you could, you cared for me even when you were tired, and you prayed for me – thank God you did. And now I have been given the privilege in life to share that same love, the same care, and the same faith with my child. Thank you for being the best mom and a great leading example for the best mom I hope to be. I love you beyond words, with all my heart, Lindsey.

Man I should write a hallmark card :)

Growing at 16 weeks

Here I am at 16 weeks tomorrow, and it seems like time is flying. I'm working everyday and that really helps the time pass. I really can't believe that I've only got 5 months left and my entire life will be different. Hold on to your hats! So Tyler and I have decided to do the fun things we like to do anyway. For example: We take a trip for our anniversary ever year in June and we have already made some reservations this year, my side of the family makes a trip to Lake Powell every year and we've missed the last 2 but this year we decided to make an appearance.
Tyler and I know that this kid can entirely change our life...
But we really like a lot of things about our life now and we just want our kid to be a part of it with us, and I'm sure they'll like it too. :)

Don't you just love June. This is where we plan to be (at least for a couple days):

Baby Labrum 8 weeks

So far at this time, I am 15 weeks and 3 days along. I will have another ultrasound of the baby in 4 weeks! Hooray, we hope to find out at that time if the baby is a boy or a girl.
So here is one ultrasound pict we had done at 8 weeks.

Ty & Linds New Baby on the Way!

Can you believe it! We certainly can't. We've got a baby due at the end of October and boy are things going to be different from now on. We must say there are some anxieties you feel at times, but even beyond that, there is so much excitement ahead. We can't wait to experience all the wonderful memories with our own little family. Christmas, birthdays, baseball games, Easter, carving pumpkins... just all the wonderful joy and excitement that kids add to everthing. We are so excited to take vacations with our new little family. So many great things ahead, many challenges too. So if you're thinkin of us. Send a prayer up to the big guy for us and our baby.

Oh and since this is our first posting, you can respond in here... you don't have to join blogger/blogspot. I just wanted to create a website that our out of state families could go to and see/watch me and the baby grow from far away. And write here whatever you want. I will try to keep this as updated as possible, if you don't notice any new pictures of me and baby... ask me to update my blog as a reminder.
