Celebrating Independence day has always been a fun one for me. I remember being a little girl and sitting out of the back of our van just oohing and aahing over the fireworks display. Here there are so many different shows to go see. Tempe has always been a favorite, a fireworks display that will Forever live in my memory as the best we have ever seen. Hopefully wherever you all are, you find yourself traveling safe. May we always remember the soldiers that fought to give us this freedom and lost their lives.
So This isn't a picture of Fireworks, but Arizona has it's own kind of fireworks that you can see for miles called Monsoons. When the 4th of July comes around, you know it's the start of the Creator's most awesome work here in Arizona. The squals can be seen for miles away, its a huge wall of dirt coming your way that is miles high, and when it hits you can't see 10 feet in front of you. SO COOL! I remember when we first moved here, I was driving out in the rain and all of a sudden it was like driving through a waterfall. I had to pull over to the side of the road since my windshield wipers couldn't move fast enough. Crazy!
Just recently Tyler and I have planted some citrus trees along with grape vines in our yard. (Plants here survive like the California climate) Our Limes, Cocktail Vodka Grapefruit, and Tangelos won't be ready until this winter around Christmas. We just pulled about 5 clusters of grapes off of our vine and oh they were delicious. So good right off the vine. :)

My Heffie is ready for the secondary you should learn how to make wine from your grapes. They have grown fast!
Love you both Mom and Dad
:) Many times, Tyler and I had thought about buying up some land out here for a vineyard against the San Tans in Queen Creek. (Land there is so cheap) And it would be such a pretty area for a vineyard against the Saguaros. Ahhh, maybe one day. :) It has been so fun to watch the fruit grow.
Love you both back! :) Lindsey & Tyler
